Restylane Kysse

Restylane Kysse with lidocaine is a lip augmentation product. The product is designed to increase lip volume and define contours, giving a soft and natural effect. The hyaluronic acid-based gel gently integrates with the sensitive mucous membrane of the lips, causing a slight swelling. Contains lidocaine, a powerful anesthetic, for a more comfortable injection.

Compound:

• Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid  (20 mg/ml)
• Lidocaine  (0.3%)

Mode of application:

1. It is necessary to consult the patient and discuss the relevant indications, risks, benefits and expected results after treatment  with Restylane Kysse . Remember to advise the patient on the necessary precautions before the procedure.
2. Assess the patient’s need for appropriate anesthetic treatment to ensure comfort, i.e. local anesthetic.
3. The patient’s face should be washed with soap and water and dried with a clean towel. Clean the injection area with alcohol or another suitable antiseptic solution.
4. Before injecting, gently press down on the needle until a small drop appears at the tip of the needle.
5. After inserting the needle and immediately before injection, the plunger rod should be slightly withdrawn to aspirate and ensure that the needle does not enter a vessel.
6. Suitable needles (30G x ½”) are supplied with the syringe in a blister pack. Alternatively, a blunt thin-walled cannula with a recommended size of 25-27G can be used.
7. Inject the gel by gently pressing the plunger rod. Inject the product slowly and apply the minimum pressure necessary. Keep the side opening of the cannula down away from the skin surface during injection.
